The Glyndebourne wind turbine is now up and will be commissioned soon. Local residents watched the assembly of the turbine on the 14th of October and BBC South East interviewed local residents to get a wide range of views. Construction was delayed slightly due to the wind speed being too high to install the blades, but was successfully completed at dusk.

The Centre for Sustainable Energy has written a comprehensive peer-reviewed report on wind turbines: Common concerns about wind power which you might like to download.

With thanks to Chris Rowland of Ovesco for this update.
