Apply to be OVESCO’s Communications Coordinator

OVESCO is a community-owned company set up to invest in and manage locally-owned renewable energy projects and provide free energy advice to local households. Now it’s looking for a great communications coordinator to help tell its story, as  director Nicki Myers explains.

OVESCO is a community-owned, not-for-profit company set up in 2007 to invest in and manage locally-owned renewable energy projects across the Lewes District and Sussex. We also provide free energy advice to local households — and we’re now growing our portfolio of community energy projects and exploring new income streams to fund that growth.

We’re looking for a Communications Coordinator to help us tell that story — keeping our website, social channels and newsletters lively and up to date, and making sure our events and campaigns reach the audience they deserve.

It’s a one-day-a-week role, so we’re ideally looking for someone building a varied, portfolio-style career, or already working a couple of days elsewhere — someone with a bit of experience under their belt who can pick this up and run with it.
