Plant a tree to celebrate the Hub opening

Saturday 18 March, Linklater Pavilion, Railway Lane BN7 2FG, 9am-4pm

In celebration of the opening of the new Lewes Climate Hub, NatureLinks Community Action Project is inviting anyone to come and plant a tree or hedgerows on the Railway Land on Saturday 18 March

NatureLinks is looking to plant a range of trees and hedgerows along the river bank at the Railway Land to support local river life, help to increase biodiversity and strengthen climate resilience.

If you’d like to plant a tree, meet on the hour at 9am/10am/ 2pm/3pm/4pm outside the Linklater Pavilion. This means early birds can come before the Climate Hub opening procession sets off from the Linklater Pavilion at 11am and then planting will continue in the afternoon.

Please wear appropriate clothing. NatureLinks can provide spades but do bring one if you can.
