Ovesco are about to launch a second share issue to install up to 120kW (over 500 panels) of PV in the Lewes District. The potential sites are at Plumpton Village Hall, Priory School in Lewes and Chailey Secondary School. If you are interested in investing, Ovesco would love to hear from you.

The Climate Change Minister, Greg Barker, announced on the 27th October that there will be a review of the Feed-in Tariff. On Twitter Greg Barker said “we will be publishing consultation including proposals for Community Tariff before Xmas”. The hope is that any reduction in the FiT will not hit community projects too hard and will allow for the growth of community power generation.

Our Solar Future
is a campaign seeking to lobby government to keep the Feed-in Tariff at
a rate that will continue to support the solar PV industry. Please visit their web site to find out more and support a community PV tariff.
