Lewes Mosaic Project looking for ecologist support

The Lewes Mosaic Project aims to encourage the development of a mosaic of wildlife-rich habitats across our town. Now it’s seeking an ecologist to help with surveys, survey training and practical advice. Can you help?

The Lewes Mosaic Project is a partnership between The Railway Land Wildlife Trust and Common Cause Co-operative, with funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The project aims to connect wellbeing with the wildlife and nature around us. As well as supporting a network of green wellbeing activities, the project will help to grow a mosaic of wildlife-rich habitats across the town.

To help achieve this, the project is looking for support from an ecologist to help with biodiversity surveys, survey training and practical advice with groups of people at identified sites in Lewes.

It has funding for the equivalent of nine days’ work over three years, including some weekend work. For full terms of reference please email Common Cause Co-operative commoncausecoop@gmail.com

The closing date for applications is Monday 19 June
