XRA snippet of news from Ann Link of TTL

Like many others in Lewes, I went up to London during the fortnight of rebellion in October. I was very impressed by the level of organisation and the atmosphere of love, concern and inclusion at the occupation I was in, on Whitehall, near Downing Street and at later ones. It seemed almost unfair that I enjoyed myself and had a good dance. However, tents were demolished, wonderful creations such as the locally-made Noah’s Ark were removed, and the press attention was probably at first less than for the April actions until the controversial tube action. A lot of people from Lewes were arrested during the two weeks.
