Eco house inspiration
There are plenty of local ideas and information for making your house more eco-friendly from our previous Eco Open House events. A number of local people from across the Lewes district opened their houses to the public and showed what changes they had made. Unlike sales people, they were able to give frank views on what has and hasn’t worked for them.
It’s a few years since we held them so some of the information in the brochures and leaflets below may be out of date but we hope you will enjoy looking at what others have done.
The first two years don’t have a lot of detailed information about the houses because they were very simple events. From 2012 there are studies on each house giving a greater insight into the work carried out. Once again, please note that some of the information and figures may no longer be relevant.
If you are on the point of installing any particular measure and would like to consult a householder who has already done so, please contact us and we will attempt to arrange it. Send your enquiry here…
Please note that the Lewes Eco Open Houses website no longer exists.
