Webinar: The River Ouse and supporting our local water systems

Sunday 25 April, 4pm-5.30pm, FREE

Lewes Climate Hub hosts an online discussion exploring what’s being done locally to maintain the health of our rivers and water sources – and what we can all do to help.

The River Ouse is the reason for all the settlements in the Ouse valley. It has a fine history and once teemed with life. Now, however apart from crossing a bridge, most of us hardly notice it. Our river can once again play an important part in bio-diversity, the creation of energy, supporting transport and of course fresh water!

This talk lets you find out more and how we can all support our river and water systems. Speakers include: Rachel Paget of Ouse and Adur River Trust; Mike Deacon, angler and pollution officer for the River Ouse; Aimee Felus, Programme Delivery Manager at The Aquifer Partnership; and Andy Dinsdale of plastic pollution activists Strandliners.

The zoom link will be sent the day before the talk. Book your free tickets here.
