Pells Al Fresco Film Screenings – Positive Ecological Stories
Friday 3 September and Sundays 12 and 19 September, FREE, 8pm/8.30pm start
You are invited to a series of al fresco screenings, all with a positive ecological theme, at Pells Open Air Pool in Lewes. Learn more and book tickets here.
The films being screened are:
3rd Sept, 8.30 pm – Chasing Coral
Beneath the waves, coral reefs are dying on a massive scale. These scientists and filmmakers are fighting to stop it.
12th Sept, 8 pm – Return of the River
A film about the largest dam removal project in the history of the United States and the extraordinary effort to restore an eco-system and set a river free.
19 Sept, 8 pm – Brave Blue World
A film exploring the technologies and innovations that have the potential to solve the world’s water crisis.
You may arrive 15 minutes before the start time. Bring your own chair, blanket, and hot water bottle. The kiosk will be open for the sale of hot and cold drinks, ice creams and snacks. If you bring your own cup, you’ll receive a 20p reduction when buying a hot drink. No alcohol or glass is allowed. Please be aware that registration for this event does not include access to the pool.
There will be also a gift for viewers while stocks last. All the films are free, but there will be a charity collection at the end. To avoid disappointment, you are advised to reserve tickets here.
