Lewes Repair Cafe is a monthly event and is held at the Landport Community Hub, Landport Road, Lewes BN7 2SU between 2 & 5pm. They ask that you bring things such as electrical items, clothing, bikes or household items that are broken, that you want to use again and don’t want to send to landfill. They can’t repair everything and if something can’t be fixed you will need to take it back with you.

Hello what a fantastic initiative. I have a cracked mobile phone screen, is this something I could bring along and learn how to fix?

    Cheers charlie

Hi Charlie, perhaps direct this question to Lewes Repair Cafe’s Facebook page, or just take it along on the 16th.

Is it possible to get one or two items PAT tested at the cafe and how much would it cost? Our storytelling club needs to have a PAT test certificate for our LED stage lights in order to use them at venues.

Hi, do you know if I could get something soldered at the Repair Cafe? I’ve broken some metal glasses frames. Thanks.
