Climate Café at the Climate Hub
Saturday 12 March, Lewes Climate Hub, 2 Fisher Street, 4.30pm – 6.00pm, free (8 places – booking essential)
A climate café is a welcoming, facilitated space to explore and voice your worries and concerns about climate change. Booking essential.
Perhaps you have begun to worry about what is happening to our climate and what this might mean for you and your family and friends, also for other species. Or maybe you are an activist or professional in the climate field, used to feeling the pain of climate grief or eco-anxiety and keeping it at bay by all the work you do.
A Climate Café is an open, inclusive space for anyone to share their concerns, hopes and feelings about climate change in a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental space. Climate Cafés are informal and everyone is welcome to join the conversation and get involved.
Saying what you really feel
A climate cafe is facilitated to give everyone the chance to share their thoughts and say what they are really feeling. Anything that’s said is confidential. Silence is fine. So is anger. Tears have a place – as does laughter and hope!
This Climate Cafe is facilitated by Guy Gladstone. Guy is a member of Seaford Environmental Alliance and The Climate Psychology Alliance. There are eight places available at this Climate Café – reserve your place by emailing email@example.com.
